Presentation Description
In Scotland and the United Kingdom, handhelds with CAS are not allowed on exams. There is not currently any real national interest in using CAS to improve math teaching. Why bother then? Whether you are a sceptic or a convert, do come experience the harmless and highly productive ways in which CAS has been used in the presenter's classroom to enrich, empower and accelerate learning. No student's algebraic skills were harmed in the development of this session - quite the opposite, in fact.
